Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor, and hands lightly behind your head, elbows wide.

  2. 2

Engage your core and press your lower back toward the floor.

  3. 3

Curl up and rotate, bringing your right elbow toward your left knee.

  4. 4

    Lower back down with control.

  5. 5

Repeat on the other side, bringing your left elbow toward your right knee.

  6. 6

Continue alternating for the prescribed reps.

Notes

The rotation should come from your torso, not from pulling your neck. Keep both feet flat on the floor and your lower back pressed down throughout.
