Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Stand with your feet about 2-3 feet apart with your toes turned out. Place your hands on your hips and look forward.

  2. 2

Lift up your heel of your left foot so that you are standing on your tip toe.

  3. 3

Press through your right heel to return to the center standing position.

  4. 4

Shift your weight to your left side and lower into a squat on the left leg, allowing your right leg to straighten.

  5. 5

Press through your left heel to return to center.

  6. 6

    Continue alternating sides.

Notes

Keep your chest up and your back straight throughout. The knee of the squatting leg should track over your toes.
