Like many people, I started working out to lose a little weight, but quickly came to realize the
many other benefits of regular exercise such as improved sleep and mood, increased energy, and a general ease in making healthier choices. My experimenting with exercise brought me to my first yoga class and I was immediately hooked. While I still love to lift, run, and cycle ... yoga has changed my life. It has helped me achieve a better sense of balance and self awareness as well as improved strength and flexibility. I became an instructor in hopes of facilitating this discovery for others. As a yoga and pilates teacher, I love the challenge of leading a class that is fun and accessible to all levels of fitness. Anyone can do it! Outside of the gym I teach Health and Wellness courses at a community college and spend time with my son, Liam, debating the likeliness of life in outer space. ~ Tom Kessler ~ |
