Take care of your body!
It’s the only place YOU have to live! I’ve always been physically fit and health conscious; however, it wasn’t until my mid-30s that I realized being healthy isn’t just about being a certain size/weight, but it’s really about so much more.
Our bodies are in a constant state of change both physically and mentally, and we have to be aware that what worked 10 years ago may not be the best approach today or tomorrow. My goal is to honestly do what’s best for you and get you to a place where you not only feel good about how you look and feel but also get you to a point where you understand that being healthy is a lifestyle and has a long-term impact. I also want you to know that change is hard, but it’s OK. I’m right there with you, going through these changes as well. If you are looking to bulk up or to be in a fitness competition, I’m probably not the one for you; however if you are not sure what routine is best for you or looking for a way to make wiser choices and just feel better, let’s chat!! I have years of experience in yoga and pilates, and I am an avid runner. I love to cook and will share my favorite recipes with you. I also have a serious problem with books and podcasts, so you may end up with a few reading and listening materials as well. Whether you see me once a week or 5 times a week, I want to leave you with tools and resources to help keep you on track for those days we aren’t together. Also, I’m up early so if you want to get your workout out of the way first thing, let’s chat! I’m available at 5am or 6am Monday - Friday. If mornings are not your thing, no problem.
