Crews have been working since September to remove everything in the building that has been damaged beyond repair, and they have begun cleaning the structure. Our landlord's contractors have been cleaning the floors, walls, and ceilings [and other structural pieces] over the last several weeks; but they still have quite a bit to go before this step is completed. This process is tedious and time consuming but necessary to ensure that there will be no lingering smoke aroma ... and they've got a TON of square feet in surface area to cover. Contractors for each specialized portion of the rebuild are being lined up: electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc. Some tasks/projects can be completed concurrently, while others must be done sequentially. That means, there are still too many factors in play to be able to predict a reopening date. We're getting closer to knowing, but unfortunately we aren't quite there yet.
We'll update the website and our Facebook page again once we reach a few more milestones.
Thanks for your support. As soon as we have any relevant information about the reopening of the River Market, you'll be the 2nd to know [I'll be the 1st ... ha!].
