We want to thank those who have helped support us through this unfortunate situation.
Even though the fire was contained to the restroom area of the gym, the rest of the facility was affected by smoke, soot, and water. We have hired a professional fire restoration company, and they have begun the clean-up process. Every inch of that building [walls, floors, ceiling, fixtures, conduit, pipes] and every piece of equipment has to be professionally cleaned to eliminate the smell and to eradicate all signs of the fire.
Not everything will be cleanable, and some things will be considered a total loss. The restrooms will have to be rebuilt. Since we do not own the building, responsibility for some things will fall on the landlord. Due to a number of factors beyond our control, we do not have a timeline as to when we will reopen the River Market location.
