Kip from Solaris Massage posted the following message: Here's a stretch you can do with the help of a table, rail, or whatever is around and stable. Hope our expert friends at theGYMkc will have tips on how to improve this one! Lookin' good, Kip! As most of you already know, stretching is a great way to increase flexibility and to decrease muscle tenderness. I can speak firsthand on the matter. 10 years ago I was not as flexible as I am today. I also experienced lower back pain on a semi-irregular basis ... ha! Okay ... so it occurred more than I would like to admit. Along with core strengthening and full-body stretching, I have been able to increase my flexibility and eliminate almost all back pain. If you aren't able to hike your leg up that far, find an object that is lower to the ground. You could use a chair ... but make sure that it is secured well enough so that it will not slip out of your way. HAPPY STRETCHING! ~Jonetta "The Mistress of Pain" Stewart~ Thanks for the great demonstration, Solaris Massage! |
